Placing one frame after another to tell a story is not only my livelihood but also my passion. ​ I am a formally trained Video Editor, having completed my post-graduation in Cinema with a specialization in Editing from the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata. I have been working in this field since 2019. I have edited feature-length fiction films, multiple fiction and non-fiction shorts, numerous music videos, promotional content, and short videos. Additionally, I have served as an associate/assistant on more than 15 long-format projects, including fiction feature films, documentaries, and web series. My proficiency lies in handling a large quantity of footage and crafting a cohesive narrative from it. Combined with strong research skills, this makes me well-suited for documentary editing. While fiction editing is my core area of expertise, my primary interests include music videos, new media, experimental films, and video art. Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Photoshop, I am also capable of operating Avid Media Composer and After Effects. Before specializing in editing, I had gained experience working as a motion graphic artist and assistant director. Additionally, I have directed approximately ten short-format projects, including short films, music videos, and experimental films. I have also worked as a scriptwriter for a docudrama currently in production. ​ Beyond filmmaking, I am also a visual artist with a focus on video, painting, and printmaking as my primary mediums. While I obtained a degree in Multimedia from St. Xavier's College, my expertise has been honed through self-directed learning. My artworks have been exhibited in esteemed galleries such as the Academy of Fine Arts in Kolkata, ICCR in Kolkata, and AIFACS in New Delhi.
